ORI strut reviews

Just an update on the ORIs. ORI has been doing a lot and addressed all the issues of them not dropping out fast enough for whoops, stiction etc. Here is a video on YouTube of the latest race we did on them:

Can you explain further in specific detail, what has changed to allow faster rebound without compromising the side hill stability advantage of them?

Features and Improvements

  • Double return oil flow (prevents packing)
  • Improved compression damping adjustment—easy turn knob.
  • Compression damping stages spaced for improved full-stroke damping.
  • Velocity-sensing compression damping improved to provide smooth ride in choppy terrain, firm support in jumps.
  • Seal glands redesigned to withstand extreme pressure spikes.
  • Overall, GEN3 is vastly improved to handle short course and endurance race environments. Your suspension should be tough enough to take a beating so you and your car don’t.

I added the improvement that ORI advertises. But in my own words: The dual chamber design is what helps with side hill stability and prevents unloading. So that stays in tact. The return oil flow is better now, which prevent packing in high speeds. All this while maintaining the ORI famous ability to resist unloading.
