I have someone wanting to trade me an Orivis ZJ, green with the two tone funky looking leather int. It's got 100k on it and looks like new in and out. It's V8 and will have a 231 case in it, stock otherwise. Any market for these things? I have no clue what it's worth. Would asking around $3500 get it gone quickly or is that too much?

someone put the 231 in it, thats not stock. If its in good running and clean condition, $3500 is a great deal. Special Editions ZJs in good/excellent condition range in the 6~7k range. The only downfall normally around the 100K mark, ZJs are known for the AIC & Crank Position Sensor failures, and the CPS is a knuckle buster to change but its inexpensive.

Ok Ill bite

Whats an Orivis?
Never heard of it..

Orvis is preppy folks by their hunting and fishing gear. Nice stuff, but expensive. If I'm not mistaken, the Orvis ZJ was "sage" green with two-tone green and tan interior with pinstriping made to look like fly fishing line.

ZJ's aren't worth squat. I see the 5.9 ZJ's which were made in 98 and are MUCH more luxurious go for $4k and $5k all day long on eBay and other forums. I think with 100k on the ticker you'd be looking at near future water pump, CPS, rear diff, and electrical repairs. $2500 would be a more realistic price to expect.

thanks, I'll start at $3500 and see what happens if no on bites I'll come down. As for the repairs, it's had a water pump, CPS, T-case, new trans and tires.

I sell junk like that all the time. $3500 is the right price. It should go fairly quickly if its as clean as you say. The homies love the two-tone green interior.

I recently sold a 94 grand with 175k on the clock for $3000. Granted it was clean as a pin and ran flawlessly.

Just a little bit of info the 5.9 has a lower towing cap than the 5.2. this is due to a cooling issue. the radiator is not big enough o properly cool the 5.9, so there may be overheating issues. Just A FYI
