I am looking for other boards to introduce my products too. I really only look a a few mainly this one and our club site. If you have a favorite board (four wheeling type)let me know, either here or by PM.
Thanks
Chip

I have a purely Jeep board I visit a lot has people from all over the country on it.

Just a suggestion, write up a nice "tech" article, showing how to prep and weld YOUR product (beadlocks) to a steel wheel!

Throw in some extras about tips on welding, (especially airtight welding), maybe MIG vs ARC in this application, the settings you used on your welder to do this, etc.

Mounting the tires by hand, etc...

That way the sites feel as if you are contributing something too. Prob will need to see if they have a "vendor" status u should seek, etc.

if you guys build a set for ATVs there is a TON of potential customers that there is not as much competition?

Sam

Building a set for an ATV would be no problem Sam, Would just need demensions.

Also, we are putting mig welding instructions in with the bead locks that we sell. Along with tips and tricks, leak detection and so on.

before I start selling on other forums I would go and spend a month being active on those forums. A lot of smaller forums dont like Spamers. Which is what they will call you when you just try to sell stuff. I learned the hard way with my products on pet forums.

Lots of members there, but you have to pay $25/yr to see pictures. :gay:

Edit: and use the damn PM system, apparently. :gay:

While I agree the pay to Pmis aggravating,
As a business owner

$25 to reach 81,500 (pirate)and 31,181(ck5)

is a lot more appealing than free to reach 25...

Of course those numbers are way inflated, much like our own 2894 member number compared to the number of active frequent visitors......

Yeah, but PBB is free to PM and look at images.

It only costs money to host images on their server.

CK5, you've gotta pay to do anything. I can't buy from somebody that is selling on CK5 without coughing up $25 first. I can't PM them, I can't see their pictures, and I can't post in the thread asking if they'll send me information via email.

So the $100 to be a vendor on PBB buys you a hell of a lot more than $100 on CK5.

Gotcha, I agree 100%...
I misunderstood your argument:beer:

You can try WebWheeling.com. There has been some interest lately in DIY beadlocks. It isn't the biggest board out there but some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
