Bowtie, I am sorry for any inconvience to you. There is no "common sense" way to tell from a photo whether wheeling a power line trail is illegal or not. I know plenty of places that are owned, and others that are leased that are "power line" trails that people are allowed to wheel on. For example, hunters that allow people to wheel their paths outside of hunting season in order to keep the path beat down. The example I am giving, is in fact... a power line trail. I just wanted to defend the response I gave to bowtie, so that it is clear of my stance on the matter. Just because it is a "power line" trail does not mean that it is immediately illegal, and trespassing. And in no way shape or form do i condone illegal and/or irresponsible wheeling, as many people know how hard I have fought to keep the Outer Banks open to vehicular traffic in the past year.
Once again, Bowtie, I am sorry for any inconvience for you, as I made a judgement call in order to answer your question about posting, and I see where I was both right, and both wrong.
