Out of the 60 or so photos I took last night...

Only 1 turned out worth anything! I am going to try again tonight if this storm keeps up but I will not have a bottle of SoCo beside me as I try to take the pics.
Anyways... here's what I got last night...

nice it is hard to capture lightning were you usign a long shutter tome and small aperture or just trying to get the timing just right?

Aperature was at 8 and shutter was at 10 seconds.
A lot of it that night was timing though. I tried to start the exposure when the bolt first struck. I know now to just let it run instead. Even though I have been doing photography for several several years, this is the first time I had tried to photograph lightning.
