I want to put lights under the lean-to of my barn. Just want it to glow more than provide work lighting, more to make it a show accent. I also don't want to see the lights, so something recessed or tucked up in the rafters would be ideal. It's 60' long and will be put on a photocell. What are your thoughts?

You could use this rail light shining down in the center between each vertical post for a nice glow. I would attach them to the top of the 2 x 6 on the back side. You could do two per section for more light but One each section would work. These are 12 volt so you would have to put a transformer over in the structure. You can hide the low voltage wires very easily and they are very simple to install.

But as I'm writing this I see another opportunity. Over on the red wall you should install some down lighting at the top of the wall shining down at the red siding. Space them to be centered between each post. It will be a scalloped effect with the light.
Use something like this light and I'll include another pic of the effect I'm trying to show you.
See the lights shining up on the brick walls in this pic? That's the effect I'm talking about but point it down.

You could do a run of the hidden Christmas lights that comes with its own trim so you don't see it. Can change the colors via remote to suit whatever glow you're looking for.
