the old lady and i are leaving friday for a week or so on the far east side of our great state.
going in on the bottom coming out the top. are there any sights that we should try to do while
out there? i think we will rent a golf cart in ocracoke for a day or two and would like to do the
atv tour of plymouth island but that may be out cause you have to walk 1/2 mile from
the boat to the atvs and a wheelchair aint worth a shit on soft sand. we plan to hit museums
and such on our way up the coast and we will eat at austin fish company right across from
jockys ridge as we have eaten there every time we have visited the outer banks.

thanks guys

As far as nags Head/kdh Visit cape hatteras and/or bodie island light house.

The grounds around lost colony are interesting.

Jockeys ridge and wright memorial.

Go to eats are fish heads, Sam and omies, awful Arthur’s, food dudes, blue moon cafe, grits & grill, biscuits & porn, cahoons market.

Ocracoke light is cool, but parking is a pita. There is a small private beach access just adjacent to silver lake entry. It’s not hard to find, nice little spot to view & calm there.

Jeanette’s Pier.

Soundside beach access just south of jockeys ridge is a neat spot.

Ride thru nags Head woods and head up to the living dune which is now a state park I believe.

Cape Lookout lighthouse, Currituck lighthouse, Carova Beach 4x4 area along with the wild horses. John’s drive in for lunch in Kitty Hawk.

In Ocracoke, Flying melon, Back door, Pony Island restaurant for breakfast, eduardo's taco's, graceful bakery are all great places to eat at. 1718 brewery is also great. Lots of little stores to check out. British cemetery is there too and a light house.

Some places are closed now that its fall but still lots to do there.
