No idea. I will see about stopping by there storefront tomorrow and checking it out for you to see if they seem legit....

Thanks. The person I talked to seemed to know about jeeps and 4.0's. Was hoping to find somone on here that may have bought one from them or knew of someone.

Forgot about this. Sorry man. I am unemployed now, so I will try to get by there tomorrow.

Yea my friend ran into some unexpected problems too. He is planing on getting one from them but currently has other commitments.

I drove by the place back when I first posted about doing so and never responded. I couldn't find the place. The address was in an office park but apparently they had no names on doors, etc. After 10 minutes of driving around the office complex, I gave up.

Well... we took him a sealed motor oil pan to valve cover and got back a block missing the oil pan and valve cover. Stuff was missing and it has been a fiasco.

You know ghost,if you are going to
tell the story make sure you have all
the facts and tell the complete story.
Your friend got all his parts back,They
got misplaced in one of our warehouse.
So we replaced the oil pan, valve cover,
front cover,and hardware.
When you build as many engines as we
do things can get misplaced.Things do
happen.Just like your friend that brought
us the engine he had a problem and we
worked through it.So before you run an
put somebody or company on public display
make sure you list all the facts for all
parties involved.Don't tell a one sided
story.

Yes he got them back... Point is engine was delivered as a complete engine valve cover to oil pan. Engine was returned not as delivered to you. I know I was there when it was dropped off and when it was picked up. I don't care how many engines you build if you get it one way it should be returned in that same fashion. If you are not going to do that tell the customer.

If it comes back better than it went in, the parts were replaced with no charge to the customer and it operates the way it's supposed to...I don't see the problem. Not sure I'd readily and openly admit losing parts as a business...but if they made things rights...what's the big deal???

Big deal is that it came back incomplete and missing pieces and took a lot of time to get straight.... You use them I will not nor will I recommend them and I will gladly share my less then stellar experience with them.

Did you ask them how they wanted it before you dropped it off? Most large places don't deal with the tin anymore. This seems like a very minor problem that could have been prevented. I'm getting an engine done here locally. It will be going to them just like they want it and that is what I will get back. A small place would keep track of your stuff, but the small guys charge a good deal more.

It was a basic fiasco. I had never dealt with an engine builder. When we dropped it nothing was said about the "tin" and my friend had a mechanic pull the engine that has many years experience in working on cars and that I know well and wheels with me on a regular basis. He sent it thinking that it would come back as sent. Which he has done with other engine builders in the past. I will say one thing I learned a lot from his misfortune.
