So I have bought LED lights from olympus offroad before and was looking at buying another as a back up light. But on google i saw this thread. When I ordered my lights from them they forgot to pack two of the mounting bolts. I didn't go on a forum and blow them up for it. The owner of the company gave me his cell # and I called him and he packaged some extra mounting hardware while he was talking to me in Colorado. It was awesome. That thread doesn't change my outlook on the company but I realized just how mad people get over things like this. But she does drive a mall crawler so what did I really expect :flipoff2:

First I would ask her to learn to spell, then I would buy my LED "offroad" lights straight from china and skip the middle man and 100% markup. Done and done.

I think it's extremely shady for a legitimate business to ask for a paypal gift payment, she expected a winch line to look like that color swatch which is silly...but they should have refunded her money if asked. Again...assuming they are a legit business.
 
Yeah, a tad over reacted. All those posters act like as the owner of a sales company you have full control over everything that comes from vendors. I like very last post.
 
The 'gift' thing thru paypal would definitely make me wonder about this business, although I try to use it when receiving funds as much as possible. She calls the vendor out on this, he sort of rebuts it as a 'prebuy', but the paypal refund he posts up clearly shows there was a fee, so I have to think the gift function was not used for this transaction. That part doesn't make sense to me.

Then it comes out the 2 parties seemed to have had some prior issues with respect to sponsoring an offroad event and her offroad club. Dunno, seems like a lot more going on than what was posted.
 
my thoughts exactly.... WGAF if your line matches, I'd be more worried about strength and reliability. Knowing my line is gonna hold vs. how pretty it is.... couple of runs in the dirt that bright ass green is gonna be dingy anyway.... but like stated earlier, theres more to this story

Looks like whiny little bitch to me. Guy gave her money back AND let her keep the winch line and she is still bitching. And people wonder why this country is going down the tubes.

I love all the JKowners acting like mistakes never happen. We sell custom architectural products all the time and sometimes shit hits the fan. It happens. No one died, and its a piece of rope.

WTF did she think she was getting for $180?
 
She's full of shit on the gift payment. If you skip to the last page, he posted a screen shot from the paypal invoice where he paid $6 in fees on the transaction. She still ended up with a free rope.

I read this on the phone earlier and came here tonight on the laptop just to reply...but Sam beat me to it.

That said Im not sure Id want that rope on my winch...but color has nothing to do with that fact.

Then again I am POSITIVE that winch line will never give them a problem..
 
I'm sure it won't either Ron. Pretty sure she won't need to pull cable at jcpennys or belks.

Some guy was saying she should have gotten a master pull because it better quality. No shit... Only twice the price for something she would never use anyways.
 
We should make a formed plastic product that looks like a big heavy winch with synthetic rope. Then put it in quadratec and say its for JK Unlimited's only.
