Oxidized Paint??

Working on a project where the paint has heavy oxidation. Any recommendations on cleaning? I have washed and waxed (cheap wax) looks better but still see oxidation. Should I use a cleaner or compound? Any tricks?

go buy a decent buffer and some rubbing compound....and be careful, its real easy to burn thru....ill do it for a price...depends on the vehicle
 
get some nice polish and take your time. There's some really good stuff out there you can get at a paint shop that does wonders. I'll look to see what i used on my vette, it worked REALLY well
 
rubbing compound and a cheap buffer. The random orbital kind will take it right off. the move to polishing compound and wax it. Take all afternoon, but a real easy DIY.
