Kind of a long story so bare with me.My great uncle has been in the truckin buisness for 40-50 years and now he has althimers (sp?) and is unable to even leave the house. His sons are both dead, one was killed in a truck wreck years ago and his wife,my great aunt,is wanting the shop and property cleaned up.I am the only one in the family that has the means(truck and trailer) to do it and I'm the only one willin to do it.The shop is 60X80 and is PACKED door to door with parts. He saved alot of things that are obsolete now but he also has some real good stuff.Among the good stuff is two Cummins KT 450's,one of which is a new in the crate bare block and a newly rebuilt(25 years ago) Cummins 350 big cam engine. My question is this,what/where is goin to be the best outlet to sell these engines??? I know Cl and possibly Ebay but would like to avoid them if possible.I have been told some of the old school diesel guys like the 450's for their show trucks and I was also told that their was a organization/group/club that had a magazine you could advertise these in.Has anybody ever saw or know what I'm talkin about??? He also has a couple of 70's model's White Freightliners that need to leave as well.Their is a old truck show in Mnt Airy NC that has alot of antique semi's and was hopin for a lead on what group put's this on.

Yeah I've been looking on and off for the past two days for stuff.Namely a rough price the 450's are sellin for. It's like the commercial says,Google gives you too much info to sort thru. The local truck salvage yards know about his stuff and have been tryin to buy it for years but the family don't trust them so I very well cant call for a price check.:D
I think I finally found the mag I was told about.

are you sure about the truck show in mount airy? Ive lived here all my life, and never heard of it?

Not positive since it was 2nd hand info  but thats where I was told.

call Ritchfield used truck parts here in Ritchfield N.C. and talk to them. Dont let them know right off that you are wanting to sell this stuff act like you have a lead on it and you are thinking of buying an older truck one has a 450 and the other is a KW with the 350 big cam they are strait shooters and will give you a ball park to be in.
