Paint guns

What kind of projects? What are you shooting and how nice does it need to look? The Harbor Freight guns are surprisingly useful. I use the $12 gun occasionally with good results. Great for primer and tractor paint. The professional kit is supposed to be very nice for $50.

Not to be a smart a$$ but it's more about the painter and not the gun. I've painted a lot with a $26 NAPA gun with no "orange peel" paint, no runs, and a good finish.

I stain houses regularly with an air less paint system just didn't want to use it cause it takes so much paint to use and I would waste a ton in the hose, there is a huge difference in quality and product delivery in the one I use and the cheap ones or even the mid range ones from lowes or Home Depot

Been painting for about 13 yrs. The cheepest "all around" gun I've found is the devilbiss plus. Around $300.
Probably sounds expensive, but this is on the lower end of decent paint guns. The home improvement store guns and auto part store guns will work, (like mentioned before, a good painter can make it work) but they don't last long being broken down cleaned many times.
