Bought a flatbed and of course it needs paint, Any ideas? Wanting to go black but not sure what route I want to go. Was thinking painting the sides with a spray paint then doing the top in a black UV bed liner roll on type. What kinda ideas you guys got?

Go ahead and spray it with whatever looks like rust, dents, and scratches!

I second rolling it. For anything with a lot of flats and very little small stuff i.e. tractors equipment buggies I like rolling.
Zero over spray, zero waste, clean up by throwing out the rollers, no need for taping of related adjacent areas.
If it is getting used, abused, and super flat high end finish isn't needed........industrial enamel oil base. Thick, tuff, durable, repairable, and cheap.

It's the absolute best way to cover anything out of expanded metal too. NO WASTE ABSOLUTE COVERAGE.

Linex that thing, done a few works great
Bedliner looks great... til it doesn't. After 3 years and a few ten thousand catalytic converters, batteries and alternators get moved in and out... I regret not just rolling industrial black on.

All depends on your intended usage.

Industrial oil borne enamel with about half a dose of gloss hardener to toughen it up a bit.
