Like the title says. The underside of my TJ is looking rough, needs a good paint shot. Has anyone done this? Is it best to drop the axles?

Or the better solution would be to get some raptor liner and spray that on like an under coating, you'll never have to worry about painting it again and it will protect from rust better then some krylon.

Probably really not a great idea. If you ever plan on taking anything off ever again, you're going to hate underliner stuck in bolt threads.

IMO, underliner does more damage than good. If water or mud gets under it from a crack or a scratch, it'll hold that water under the "skin" of the liner and rust your parts out more than just drying on scratched paint. Seen it happen quite a bit growing up in the north.

Yeah im not really feeling the liner look. Ill probably spray it with the rustoleum hammered black. It comes out pretty clean looking.
