Just replaced rear rotors and pads on a 2000 Chevy 1500 Silverado Pickup and now need to adjust the parking brake. I turned them in a little to get the rotor on but the parking brake pedal is to low now. Do I adjust the bolt on the cables under the drivers door, or are there holes on the backing plates to use a brake spoon?

Thanks

There are holes in the backing plate. One side is on top of the axle tube, the other side should be below it. Same bracket setup, just flipped over I believe.

ya your right it's just like my f150 but my brake spoons don't fit into the adjusting holes, i'll try again today in the light.
Thanks, John

I think I usually use a small screwdriver....or get them as tight as I can before I slide the rotor over them.

Thanks all, had to remove the rotors and adjust the parking brake that way.
