paying for work leads

Dylan - have you looked at expanding your market? I do a lot of floor prep, skimming, patching and stuff for all of the Raleigh commercial guys, they are all busy. have you done work for Bonitz Flooring or Brock Contract Services, they both use independant installers, I can dig up a few contacts in the Charlotte, GSO area if it helps.

Never heard of those guys.

I am willing to travel within a reasonable distance and lately have traveled 100 miles or more for decent jobs.
Obviously I cant travel that far if it's not a larger job, but I can travel for good $ fer sure.

As far as GSO and Charlotte..oh yeah, Ill take all the contacts I can get. I'll call them all.

I'll look it up at my daughters next story time day at the library. Thanks.

Just a hint, just because it has an animal in the title, dosn't mean it will be in the Story Time section. :flipoff2: You may have to go over the part for adults.
Somebody can get a ladder for you if needed.

Try a business networking group like Triad Business Connections - they meet weekly (7:30a - 9a, Tuesday@Billy Bob's on Hanes Mall Rd.), and you'll be "coaching" people on how to sell your products/services. Much better bang for the buck imho. Plus these groups do much better because referrals are stronger than leads.

Leads = "Go check out this place down the road." or "Have you been to this development/business park?"

Referral = "I know that this person/company needs your product/service and I can introduce you to them."

Are you in BNI???? That is exactly what we teach all the new members to pass referral's and not leads....People sometimes froget the difference

I visited a bunch of the BNI groups, as well as some independant ones. I ended up joining the one I mentioned. The costs were much lower -- and while its not an instant gratification type thing, I've more than recovered my cost of membership.
