i know there is some info about redoing the flow on this to prevent oil blow on steep inclines... just wanted to know a little more about this cause it deff needs to be done on my truck its made too many smoke shows and it really done it bad on the last trip to the flats. thanks for any input

Sounds like a simple catch can would solve your problem unless there is something 22re specific...Oil would still blow out into the catch can, but not into the intake, so no smoke.

You can put in an oil/air sep. for a compressor inline and it should catch any oil that gets by. Can get them at a hardware store for like 10-15 bucks.

These do the job of a catch can, but beware, the little filter that come in most of them will clog up with oil quick and either block the PCV or siphon the oil up. I ran one for a while, it worked ok without the filter, but not fully effective. Most of the $10-15 are small and don't have much capacity which will fill up quickly, especially during the winter with condensation.

I ran a crank case vent to the exhaust. i still have the pcv valve hooked to the intake and no smoke no oil consumption but i have to add that my motor is 5k miles old.

well when i bought my truck it was said to have a rebuild with no more than 5k on it and the kid that was driving it put it in a ditch and parked it for 6 years then i bought it... done nothing other than change the oil it needs the valves adjusted but it runs great just smokes lake a banchee when your on a hill like stihl hill and beating the heck out of it

Ha! I gotta fix the Dodge and pay off Jamie's loan (luckily we've got it knocked down pretty far already so there's not much left) and then I'm free to do whatever I want. Supposed to get my returns by the 8th....I'm stoked!
