Just got a new samsung smart phone, where and what are the cool apps?

timeriffic is the best. I have all text and email set to mute from 10:30 to 7:00. I also have volume set lower at work and higher in the evening. AK notepad and advanced app killer are good also. Make sure to exclude timeriffic from the app killer.

Im assuming it is an android based phone?

tikl - push to talk, but uses data network and will work with anyone w/ android phone & app

knocking - live video conferencing. works with android & iphone.

launcherpro - give you a more customizable homescreen

bubble - bubble level

pandora radio - free internet radio

unit converter

shazam - you can have it listen to a song on the radio, and it will tell you the name and artist

barcode scanner - you can scan things in the store and it will search for prices elsewhere

skype mobile - if you ever go somewhere long distance, and can get on a wireless network, you can call free

i'm not sure what android is, this one is an optima 2. I am new to this fancy phone stuff.

as soon as i figure out what this thing is then I need to figure out where all of the free apps are. So far all I seem to find are apps I have to pay for. Im still looking for the barcode reader
