Phone screen protectors

I just got a new phone and would like it to last. I got a droid turbo. I was wondering if anyone on here has one and what screen protector you are using. I'd like to have a tempered glass protector but all the reviews I have seen have been all over the place, some saying that they won't work right cause the screen tappers at it edges. Just looking for input.

I went with the BodyGuardz Pure tempered glass for the screen and a bumper cover for the rest. I love the feel and I get a lot less smudges than when I used films.

Crap, I wish I could remember what brand I bought last time. I recall being pissed when I opened it and there was only one protector in the package. But it was thick and kind of rubbery. Ended up lasting a long time. Something I'm still confused about though. I know there was a scratch in the screen before I put the protector on. When I finally peeled it off, I can't see a scratch anymore.

I bought a gadget guard tempered glass protector for my s4. It seems to work good and does not smudge like the films. It feels like the factory phone screen. It has cracked after about the 3rd phone drop, but you can't feel the cracks and the screen did not crack.

I really want a tempered glass protector but this driod is a Verizon exclusive so everything for it seems to be harder to find quality products for it. I ordered three different cases before I found one worth anything, I also ordered a glass screen protector for it and it was okay... But it doesn't seem to hold down on the edges apparently the screen has a curve on the edges and doesn't allow it to attach right

I broke the screen on my last phone with it in my pocket, in an otter box, with an otter screen protector on it. Still have no idea what happened, just pulled it out, and it was busted. I didn't bother with the screen protector this time around, but do have an otter box again.

Nine months in, so far, so good.

Lifeproof is only way to go I drop mine all the time, it's water and dust proof. My buddy ran over his iphone with his mini track hoe last weekend and just cracked the screen

I've had two lifeproofs and took them both off they are a pain to deal with, the latch wears out where you charge it and they make it hard to hear when someone calls

Been through 3 life proof cases in 2.5 years. No issues or problems with my phone. This is my first phone to last longer than 4 months.

I swear by them. After seeing how the first case handled the abuse, I dropped insurance on the phone to save the $10/mo and $169/claim.

Never had the bottom door problems, just worn the corners where screen protector meets outer rubber. Then is time to get a new case. Usually the screen is scratched pretty good at that same point.

None. I trust Gorilla Glass. My Razr M has made it over two years with no case, no major scratches, and no breaks. Drop it plenty. I don't know how my wife managed to break her's, but it probably would have broken with a protector, too.

The biggest problem with life proof is that they only make them for the galaxy and for the iPhone.

The phone I was talking about before, that was in a case, in my pocket, with a screen protector, etc, was a razr.

And whatever broke it probably would have done it with a protector, too. You might have leaned against a table, maybe a key fob was between the screen and your thigh and placed pressure in the center of the screen. I'm amazed they're not all broken! Glass has come a long way. Mine is the RAZR M, the small screen model. I think the smaller size even probably helps. Physics and all that.

This. The Gorilla Glass is going to be much more scratch resistant than a $5-10 screen protector that you buy and add on to it. Also going to sense your finger better and have better clarity.

I use one of the tempered glass protectors on my s5. The protector cracked after a while, then some more and some more lol, but like already said you cant feel it. Also the cracks dont really bother me when the phone screen is on, really cant see them unless the screen is dark. I think it was $40.00

My daughter dropped my son's ex-gf's iphone in a lifeproof case. She was seated in the bleachers and dropped it slipped from her hand about 30" onto concrete. The screen S-H-A-T-T-E-R-E-D. SO I have now bought 4 iphones in my life and never owned one.

Best buy has changed there insurance policies due to people like me... I wouldn't get it warrantied till it wouldn't charge anymore or the speaker died and I went threw 7 iPhone in 2years.
