Ok I am a computer idiot here I guess...

How can i make file size of digi pictures smaller?
When I take them off camera they afre 4500 not the 97 required by NC4x4.....
I do not have photoshop, am I screwed?
Or is there a way around this?
Thanks for any help...

if you have windows XP, it will resize pictuers for you, and is incredibly easy to use, even for the computer dumb, you just right click on it and click resize

the thing is you may have to download a plug in, my moms computer i had to download it on, but my computer had it from the beginning i think

its def not the best picture resizer in the world, not very many options, but it is quick and really easy to use

alright tI am aware of both choices, but wifes camera doesnt have the option to take at lower :shaking:

And Comp has ME not XP.........

I know it's a feature on XP...but you can at least check to see if ME has it...

Start==>All Programs==>Microsoft Office Tools==>Microsoft Photo Editor

if not, there are a ton of Shareware/Freeware programs that will do it...

Keep the resolution on your camera as high as possible in case you want to get prints made later. You can always lower the resolution for later for posting.
For resizing, I would recommend a program called "Imagewalker". It can be downloaded from Imagewalker.com. You can select an entire folder of photos and specify a size, then type in a new folder name, and the software with create copies of all images at the specified size. A real time saver over doing one image at the time. Quicker than PhotoShop for resizing. Even better, "It's Free."
Hope this helps.
