A buddy of mine was talking about a gas pump he had found on his property and I'm always lookin for the next new thing to spend my time, money and attention on  so I went by last night to check it out and wound up comin home with it.
The ID tag was missing but as near as I can tell from researching it on the net it is a "short" Tokheim model 39.I got it home last night and had to get the pressure washer out to see what was under all the mold

Other than finding a better place to store it that's not in front of the wifes flower bed,I have no immediate plans for it. I'm about to break ground on a new shop,so I hope to do a full restore on it this winter

I have a 1943 Bennet in my den. I restored it several years ago. Everything is still in side and it will still pump! To me the inside is the beauty part, old scool tecknoligy is fantastic. My biggest problem was finding a nossel that would fit the side "holster" A friend of mine is a coal miner in WV sent me one and it fits great. Mine had a place in the top for the lollipop light, I ordered that online and it fit perfect. Good luck and don't destroy the value by putting a stereo or something like that in it! Even seen one with an aqarium inside. They were trying to get $150.00 for it after they ruined it.

This one has a round panel on top you can remove to put a globe on it.Their is a butt load of parts online for these things and theirs even a forum for them.I'll probably pull the pump part out if it just to lighten it up and make more manuverable, but everything else is staying.

man thats a nice pump!
be sure to show us some pics later after a good restore, i love old stuff like that!

The cap on top of mine is cast iron! Somebody told me several years back that they were like gold because everybody threw them away when their globe arrived.
