Hey man for a lot of good information on these check out: www.carolinaK5.com (good guys with so good information)
www.coloradoK5.com (pay site but saved me a great deal of money when I was building my K5).

Oh Yeah my User I.D. is gmcjimmy88 @ both of those sites as well. Tnat is a good jooking first gen!

so how much lift should i put on it? any suggestions? only thing is i still wanna be able to pull my pontoon boat when im done. thanks:beer:

well what are you gonna use it for, driver + occasional wheeler, or dedicated rig, with occasional street time?

also are you plannin to keep the stock axles, or upgrading? Id say 4-6" too, that should easily clear 35-37s which would be ok with stock axles, and/or you could cut on it some and run a larger tire with tons...

yeah its gonna be hard for me to hack up the fenders, its got 33's on it right now. im thinking 4'' ought to clear 35's. im mainly gonna be pulling my boat and just cruisin around.
