i guess this is a hack job to so kiss my ass

Is this yours, or did someone pay you to do this?

Is this a trail rig only or is it an on road vehicle as well?

Are there no jam-nuts for those heim joints?

Any reason it was put together with ALL of the friggin threads not engaged (out or exposed) on the heims?

:wtf::eek:

When this poor guy comes to give you money, give half of it back to him and take the other half to buy your self a grinder. Take a class on welding and fabrication. You kinda want to know what you are doing when you are putting lives at risk!! I'm not saying I was the best when I first started but I started out slow and did little jobs like sliders and bumpers and such. It just takes practice.:bounce2:

you missed a hack job. I hope who ever is paying for that know that JB weld would hold as well as the welds on his jeep. This was a prime example of someone who's got a mig gun but not a clue. I only live 25 minutes from madison hope that thing doesn't make it my way unless it is on a trailer coming to my garage to be fixed right. The worst part was the guy showed pics of it so he must have thought he did a good job.

90jeepman, there are lots of haters on this board, you can't have made that many enemies in just 3 months :) maybe it's the heat? Put the pics back up so we can see what they're talking about.

I was ripping on the welds. They weren't quality welds at all. Looked like very poor penetration and some very poor run beads.Half the welds didn't even look like they touched 2 pieces of metal. I don't know shit about long arms I was referring to the weld quality so :fuck-you: I could care less what you do to your vehicle unless it puts me at danger. And a person that can't weld welding suspension parts onto a vehicle that is going to be tagged and drove on the public roads is dangerous to me and everyone else. So go to the local community college and learn how to make quality welds then come back and talk :poop:

What I saw: Radius arms cobbled together with tractor links and what appeared to be old CAs that were bent to fit. CA mounts that were just tabs, not boxed in at all and they were actually pulled in together from tightening the bolt down with too short of mis-alignment spacers. Cold lapped welds on the CAs. Tractor links that were showing several inches of threads with no jam nuts.

The cross member was OK, IMO, but I would have liked to have seen a sleeve where it was bolted to the "C" channel on the unibody "frame".

Put the pics back up! This is a place for learning and criticism. You had the right intentions, just poor execution. If you really want to learn from your mistakes, start now.

oh my god... i can't believe that that is actually holding together under its on weight!! I don't think any one has to worry about that thing even making it to the street, it will prob fall the F... apart near the end of the driveway

What do you guys think about the angle between the front drive shaft and the front diff? It looks like the diff is angled down to me causing steering issues?

Come on guys. You gotta start somewhere. Right? Maybe just a little slower. I my self used tractor links on my build(trailer queen). Lets give him the benefit of the doubt that he will at least try to repair some of that. At least hes trying.

P.S. Before you start saying "lets see yours" I'll go ahead post it up.....
