I was once a member of this board a couple years ago when I first bought my 84 Yota. But I guess it has been revamped so many times my registration got lost. Well I decided to quick screwing with it and make a new name. I am from Pickens, SC (about 40 minutes south of Hendersonville NC) and I go to Clemson. I just thought I would post some pics of my rig for everyone to make fun of. :flipoff2:

NO SPECS???? Nice rig man.Like the fender job. What lift, tires(size),engine you runnin?

id say paint the flatbed before it rusts away and get different rear shackles. otherwise, sweet rig

Ok here are the specs:

84 Ext. Cab (obviously right)
I rebuilt the stock 22R
De-smogged it
Converted it to dual row timing chain
Installed a comp cam
Rebuilt the carb to perform better off-road
G52 trans was replaced with a W56 and topshift case
New Flywheel and clutch
Marlin 4.7's installed in case
All Pro T-case E-brake
Custom front Spring hanger/winch mount
Stock rear springs up-front with some waggys mixed in
Banana Shackles on front
Front u-bolt flip
Ford Shock Towers
Totally rebuilt front axle
Cromoly inners and birfs
New bearings and seals
Rebuilt stock Aisin hubs
Marlin Crossover Steering
LockRite w/4.10's
Marlin 1.5" spacers
89 4Runner steering box mounted on Fabricator's plates
Square D-shaft (awesome mod and EASY!)
Shortened wheelbase to 110" (was 116" after front axle move)
Custom rear d-shaft
Lincoln locked rear 4.10
Inboarded shocks (5012's all around)
92 Tahoe rear springs (53" long... shorter than my old 63" chevies)
Home built flatbed modeled after AllPro's
98 Honda Passport bucket seats
Herculined interior
15x8 Black Crawlers with 35" X-Terrains

The flatbed does need another coat of paint but it just gets worn off after a hard wheeling trip. I think I am gonna Herculine it to avoid this problem again. Shackles are in the works... just bought a length of 3/8X2" strap. In the near future I plan to get some weld on beadlocks, 38" TSL's, a second T-case, and finish the flatbed with a full exo. Thanks for the compliments!

Just a suggestion, but you should think of swapping out the floor of the bed with some netting-type metal. Might save a couple of pounds and still be strong.

Yeah I thought about expanded metal but threw that idea out when I got to thinking about all the mud on everything. The floor and fenders is 16 ga. steelmetal with several little angle supports to help with the spanning so its not too too heavy. I plan on boxing the sides in too so that may be expanded metal.
