Left the back hatch open for maybe 3 minutes while we carried stuff inside. He jumped in with his tennis ball when we were inside. He dropped said ball in the cup holder and apparently went berserk trying to get it out.

Butthead thought it was a good idea to dig up one of my deer heads I have buried and gnaw on it. He came back inside smelling like days old roadkill. It was terrible. It was all over him. I couldn’t figure out what he’d got into. Then he threw a chunk of rotten deer up into his kennel. My whole living room was rancid. I cleaned him and everything up. Finally figured out what he got into a day or so later. Man was he rotten.

Apparently drinking water from the back side of the bowl while tripping over the food dish is somehow easier than drinking out of it from the front :laughing:.i guess when I'm 80, almost 90 I can do whatever I want as well LOL!! He's almost 17.

Anubis at 5 years. Cane corso I got at 6 weeks, battled parvovirus. Went from 13 lbs to 6lbs.
We have a very special bond.

He's on a diet, was 142. Will see at the end of June for his annual. Trying to keep him 130-135.

Cole was a rescue from a home that didn’t take care of him at all. He has lived the good life here for 6yrs. Made it a month past his 17th birthday. He has been fighting seizures and cancer. He went across the rainbow bridge this afternoon. Gonna miss him.

Random dog PSA:
My inlaws got a rescue mutt about 6-8 months ago. Super sporty, health 50-60lb pup that's about 1.5 years old. She was running around in the back yard chasing a rabbit when she went limb. Back half completely paralyzed. After spending thousands of dollars on MRI's and stuff at the vet, turns out it was a spinal stroke, and she should mostly make a full recovery after a few weeks. Never realized such a thing could happen, but its pretty scary. I think my takeaway would be that if it happens to my dog, I'm not spending the money because it is either temporary and will get better on its own, or permanent, and there's nothing you can do, so throwing thousands of dollars at a vet isn't going to change anything.
