As of may 1st Pinnacle Mtn. Trails will be gated and have henderson county sheriffs patroling the area.We met the owner today and he said the land had been in a family dispute for 10 years and now that he has it under his possesion he also has a federal court order for the Henderson County sheriffs office to patrol randomly every day the trails i guess by foot and who ever is caught will be charged with tresspassing and or littering or distruction of private property.So just let all of yall know that you pretty much have untill the end of april, but the owner is intown and he will approach you.

No you don't have to like it, but attitudes like that will make damn sure he'll never open the gates again.

I find it really funny how many people are hating on this landowner for choosing how he will use his land. I have no idea about this place, but if you have all been basically trespassing on private property, you feel entitled to keep doing it now? I will be damned if i would knowingly leave my property open to wheelers to run loose, AND THAT IS COMING FROM ANOTHER WHEELER!

If you go to the gate on may 2nd and he chases you down while you turn around hes a DICK. If your on his land wheeling on may 2nd your a dick and a make the sport look bad in the eyes of the public. Thats what im saying.
 
This is the reason there are VERY few folks that know where our property/land is. It is his right to have us or not...

I realize that MOST of the folks on here respect that right, there are some male anatomy parts that do not and that is why we see trail closures.
 
will i wish i had been up their to meet him . the last run in with a land owner was pretty cool and he ended up tagging with us and showing us where to go. wish i could have talked to him and we might have a legal spot and he can have his property taxes paid this year ($10 per rig open on saturdays) im still working on getting the loging roads above my house turns out that guy allowed it to be logged to pay taxes so im gonna throw him an offer:huggy:
 
drove past there today while looking at houses/land up that way. the trail that went off to the left down behind the big brush pile to that open area of land near the pond is all clear cut. it looks like total shit. i dont understand why ppl feel the need to clear cut our mtns.
