ok this may seem confusing. my brother broke his rear driveshaft on his 88 ford ranger. it seems that replacement shafts (used) are really hard to find. he did find a rear shaft from later model ranger that is the right length but yoke doesn't work with the axle (ford 7.5). we think that the driveshaft uses 1350 joints while the axle uses 1210. SO, i need a yoke adapter to bolt onto the 7.5 flange that accepts 1350s OR a flange for the 7.5 that i can bolt the 1350 yoke. basically, i have a driveshaft that bolts to a larger flange than the one under the truck. any ideas on where to find this? (i've check bronco graveyard and various other online ford parts sites)

(we do had an 8.8 to swap, which will fix the problems in the long run. but we need the truck soon and the axle needs a lot of work and will take a while)

thanks

Sure that's a 1350? Most of the time only 1-tons used 1350's.

Head over to a driveline shop, they should be able to get you straightened out.

I know when I swapped the 9" in the TJ the 1310 joints that were in the driveshaft were too wide (same diameter) for the 9" yoke. Napa had two joints that had different length crosses and one of them was 1310 to whatever size the 9" yoke was. Advanced had no idea what the F they had.

Just call Jess at High Angle. He prob. has an answer and a part to fix ya right up. Anytime I have an odd driveline question like this, thats who I call. I'm usually ready to purchase something at that point and usually do from Jess.

hes great help
