Pit bull tire discount

Did everyone get their tires last time they did this? I remember people on PBB waiting forever, a lot of people cancelling, and some controversy over whether Pit Bull honored the discount for everyone. And how do these tires work? I've never wheeled with anyone that had a set to see them in action.

I got mine. Took about 3 months after the order to get shipped. Then another week or so to get here. Haven’t wheeled them yet to tell you how they work, but I’ve heard from multiple sources that “for the money they’re great,” and “they perform good at most everything, but aren’t great at anything.”
Time will tell...

I cancelled my Trump election order after waiting for 3-4 months. Might give it another go to see if they’ll actually show up. If they do...never hurts to have cheap spares.

A few friends and I bought several sets during the original trump sale. It took a several months to get them but we have been super happy with them. Im sure there is better tires but I can say these are way better then the iroks I replaced.

I guess I must be missing something. Is there a real performance reason to pay the prices these folks are asking for their tires? 60% off barely puts them in the price range of 'normal' for tires.

If I were to buy new tires, I'd look at something in the 41-43in range. Pit Bull lists their 42x15-16 Rockers for 663, so minus 60% puts them at 265 a tire. Now I'm not real up to date on off road tire cost, but that's less than I paid for my 37in Nitto's for my Ram.

That’s why I wouldn’t consider buying them at regular pricing. I was eyeballing a set of 39.5” rockers too...$348/tire to get them to my door. If I wanted a 39.5” TSL, I’d be at $450-500/tire after any shipping/fees to get it to my door.

I paid right around $1200 for 4 42s shipped to my door. A quick google search shows both 42 iroks and tsl are about $490 ea. That’s $1960 before taxes or shipping.

Now I see where the value point is. I'm still in the 35-37" tire sizes.

When I looked at the site, the first thing I noticed was that their tires weren't easy to search by size. Then I saw some AT/MT hybrids that looked pricy for a 35/12.5r17 tire.

I guess these sweet spot for these folks is the 37+ tires sizes.

Well I ordered some. I'll let y'all know if they show up lol.

Well they're here. They actually showed up Jan 29 while I was still in Chapel Hill, so two weeks from order to delivery. The carrier called me with delivery information which is the only way I knew they were coming. Pit Bull never sent me an update or tracking number or anything. But they are here, they are the size I ordered, and they are officially the first step in a new build.
