We plan to do many of the better known breweries (Hitop highland and wicked weed) what would be your number one stop if you where going? Thanks for your input.

is wedding same sex or hetero marriage.
It will change the answer....

if hetero - somewhere else
if same - anywhere

White Duck, Mamasita's Taco Temple, Packs Tavern, 12 Bones, Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack (and get a Royale with cheese, Rocky's hot), and then wrap it up with a stop and Girl & Goblin to get some sweeeet tattoos fron the one and only Ryan Mills (@mills06 on the social medias).

Then I roll over to Canton and hang out with my cousin and @smittybronco4 :D

Thank you all for the suggestions. These are my non off-road friends and this is where he wants to go. I do agree it’s going to be full of tourist. There are definitely a few places listed I am adding to the list of places to go.

These were my thoughts on it. This is where he wants to go so you're going. I agree with everyone that says it's not what it once was but if you're going to go you might as well make the best of it.

Hmmmm. I never had a bachelor party. Perhaps I need to make up for that. Who wants to go to Harlan and make poor decisions?

It's really mostly the driving that's a pain in the ass, and to folks coming from Charlotte or something it's pretty small potatoes. Just the roads are consistently crowded with speed racing locals and Sunday driving Florida Karens, the rest of us just try and survive between the two. Haywood Rd (W Avl) can be a pretty fun freak show, if anybody rides a skateboard go to the Foundy. If you want a good beer without as much a crowd, come hang out in Black Mountain. Three exits but a world away, most of the tourism here is of the church camp variety, those folks don't drink much...

In our pre-kid (and pre- Wicked Weed) days, Mamacita's or Barley's were our people-watching, carb-loading destinations for before or after backpacking trips. It's been too long since we met up with @Jody Treadway to watch some kiddos ruin somebody's corn hole game.
