He guys I am in need of some steel .
I need 2x4 .120 wall box tube and 16 gauge sheet metal
I called Dillon supply and was quoted 107.52 for for the square tube and 66.85 for the 16 gauge .
I wanted to know of any place cheaper .

I had ECGS get me some 2x4x.188 he can get almost any thing delivered to his place.
DOM Tube/box etc..

When you factor in not having to take time off work or drive to G'borro his prices are actually cheaper..

He's got some stuff in stock.

Foymart is good for the stuff they have in stock. Though his prices seem to have gone up recently.

Just FYI, I called Foy-Mart up and asked if they stocked DOM. I went through 3 people trying to figure out what I was talking about before I got a big "negative". They had no idea what DOM even stood for before I told them?
Dillon does not stock DOM but with about a 3x mark-up, they can get it. After dude called me back for the quote a few weeks ago, 1.5" X .25" DOM was $18 per foot.:shaking: That would have been $360 per stick...:fuck-you: I went to ECGS and got what I needed.
I have kicked around the idea of stocking it for locals. Now that Chase has the room, maybe he'll keep it available in large quantities?

I would expect that from Foymart. They only carry what is on their price sheet.

Mike their prices have gone up but they are still better then dillon. Dillons markup for personal use customer is large, and varies by whom you talk to.

talk to "shep" at fabco in cary.
