Places to live near Mocksville or Davidson??

My Fieoncee is looking into moving into the area for teaching. I will be shortly after she gets down there. Where are good places to live in the area? I would prefer to stay out of the city areas and out of subdivisions if possible. Coupple acres, maybe 20 or 30, and the ability to build a 32x40 or 40x60 or so pole barn/shop.

I live about 10 miles from Mocksville in Advance. There is plenty of land for sale out that way. There are also plenty of new subdivisions going in as well. Head up there and take a look. Lots to choose from (pun intended).

I agree with Joel - I live right behind him on a farm. I would recommend anyone to move to this county. You can come up here and drive around - you will find land for sale.
