Play in my steering wheel

I've never run hydro assist, but I had about the same amount of play in my steering too. It ended up being my steering box. After replacing it the play is gone.

it can be many things, have some one work the play in the wheel while you watch for loose/worn parts.

Not very familar with hydro asst. but I would look for loose bolts, worn steering shaft joints, and worn steering box. You would think that the looseness would have to be somewhere between the steering wheel and steering box since you have a ram helping from the steeringbox down.
