Hell yeah, never been there. Ready to see gen 2 of the CJ. I'll probably hit Tellico and Robbinsville this weekend, stop by on your way back if you got an extra day.

I was hoping somebody got pics since I forgot my camera. As usual I had a blast there and didnt end up breaking anything. I look foward to the next run.

Where is the playground and is it open to the public?
Chris

20-30 minutes from Uwharrie...

it's private land that the Mud Devils wheel on (hence Devil's Playground), and they try to have an open ride about once a month or so...

they'll either post up in the Upcoming Rides section here, or on their site http://muddevils4x4.com/forum/index.php

to give you an idea of where...I-85N to Exit 94 (Old Hwy 64)...and then about 10 minutes from there...

How small are you? If its mostly dry and you are locked on 33s with lots of skids/rocker protection, you will have a decient time. If its wet, and your locked on 33s it will be very hard. I have been out there a few times on 33s and had a blast when wet. You will have to avoid a lot of the bigger obstacles due to clearance. I have 35s locked front and rear with lots of skids and its fun hard. DPG is mostly geared toward buggys and modified vehicles running 37s and 38s but smaller rigs can still have fun there. Mall crawlers will not survive!

Thanks for the update... I think I saw on the website they are having an open ride on 9/16? Anything some of us smaller guys could run locked? Or, is it just large rocks?

I've taken guys out there in TJ's on 31's with open diffs...and they were able to entertain themselves all day...

it will depend on how much body damage you're willing to take...they got zero damage...

if you'll take a little, there are some more spots to try...

plus, whenever you get tired...EVERYTHING there is in walking distance (kinda like a bunch of obstacles in a ring around a grass field) so you can watch everybody else do crazy stuff...
