Please go and give a vote to the Carolina Raptor center. It is an amazing place that works to put big birds aback in the wild. It is also an amazing place to visit. Warbeast, I could'nt get access to that link. I do love all birds though and Eagles are common around Harris and Jordan lakes almost all year long down here. We had a pair of Coopers hawks nest in a tree 20' off our deck last summer and the'yre still around but nested elsewhere this year. It was cool watching the youngsters mature and finally leave the nest, one at a time over a period of days. They would hop/fly around the backyard calling to be fed while the adults coaxed them to fly to them for more food.
