I am making half doors for my cherokee and the design is that I cut the bottom half of the door hinge so the door will slide up and off of the hinge. So far I am having zero luck to even getting close to cutting the hinge. I stripped the head to one of the bolts holding it to the door so this is my final showdown with it.

Here is my progress so far......sad

I have tried a sawzall and agle grinder so far but i fell both of those do nothing. The size to fit a tool in is very tight. Can anyone with a plasma or dremel type of tool help me before my anger makes my jeep explode??

My brother has a dremel, but that would take forever, Jon has a Plasma at the shop now though he might could help you.

add a littel heat and a good set of visegrips. The bolt will usualy come out.

It turns out I can't read, sometimes cutting into the edge of the bolt head will let you use a punch to get it started

flat chisel or center punch. I like flat chisels for this. make a nick/score in the edge of the bolt and tap the bolt counter clockwise. takes some trying but it will loosen that bolt to where you can use pliers to get it out.

when i took my doors off i stripped a few ended up using vise grips and some how managed to get them all out. then went to home depot and got regular bolts that fit.
