These are the stupidest thing I have seen every to be called a motorcycle. If it takes a car trailer to haul it, it has three car tires, bucket seats, seat belts, steering wheel, full windshield and an optional hard top it is not a motorcycle. But let's not forget they are wider and weigh more than vw bug.

Have you driven one?

I dont disagree with anything you said...yet I want one for some reason

I thought this at first, but then I thought about someone handicapped or disabled being able to enjoy the feel of a motorcycle but with the comfort and ease of a car. Changed my perspective a bit.

I'm currently building something similar for a guy who got t-boned on his bike last year. Destroyed his wrist and now he can twist the throttle. Would I own one? I don't know, but I sure as Hell can't wait to drive it!

I have driven one and plan to get one when the price comes down they are using a loop hole for sure but they are fun as shit to drive they have none of the safety bs you have to have to have a car that makes them to happy to have fun in

Sounds to me like you're just hung up on the classification of "motorcycle".
Just don't think of it like that, it really is a different kind/class of vehicle.
It's called a motorcycle only b/c in most states, they don't have anything else to call it b/c "car" requires 4 wheels.

Sure seems liek it'd be fun to drive, I see no reason to knock it.

I was just pissed at all of them this morning. going out to breakfast this morning I had a guy ask me if I could move my truck so he could get his "motorcycle" in the spot besides me.

I would have showed my empty hand of fucks..

I seen somewhere due to being classified as a motorcycle all helmet laws applied to them. That would kinda suck. Were the people in Maggie wearing them?

I'm thinking about the awkwardness when you show up to get a motorcycle license and bring that as your test vehicle

I think the Elio fought against this and kinda won. Drivers aren't required to have helmets, but the Elio is required to have airbags. The NHSTA giveth and they taketh away.

I saw one of these last week in oak ridge, first time I'd ever heard of or seen one. I talked with the owner briefly, he said it was fun as hell to drive. Looked to me like the bastard child after the bat mobile raped one of those can-am thingies.

A co-worker of mine had one of those Can-Am Spyders. He said all he had to do for his test was go, and stop.

They are pretty fun to drive, like a large go cart. Two of my customers own them and one had to take his motorcycle test in it... He said the tester basically laughed, had him idle it around the parking lot a bit and signed his paperwork.

While I would love a T-Rex, the rest of the three wheelers ...... might as well buy a Civic.

Matt
