thats how they get to the desk in the news.. like the guy that was standing on the beach to show how strong the wind was
 
I'm no scientist but how did they know it was poo foam? I watched the video last night and I kept waiting for them to say something about it but they never did. I don't live at the beach but I do work around a wastewater treatment plant everyday and I never see foam like that. is there a link to the low down?

Nobody ever actually said it was "poo foam" that was just the funny interperetation...

I could have sworn on W64 news last night at 10, they said that was actually raw sewage.

Tucker Barnes, reporting on conditions along the Ocean City, Md. boardwalk for the D.C. Fox affiliate, is being enveloped in a brownish foam from the sea as he gives his report. Barnes describes the smell, consistency and the taste of the foul foam. He even speculates that it’s some form of organic matter. “Plankton, maybe?”



Uh, no. It was raw sewage from a nearby waste treatment facility....
