So I ordered some knuckle gussets from a guy on the 3rd. I pmd him asking if he was still making them. He said he was and sent me a paypal invoice. I promptly paid on the 3rd and called his shop for an expected ship date. No answer left a message. Ive sent two pms asking when to expect them etc. No response. Hes been on each day this week. One message I sent while he was on pbb viewing a thread in chit chat. Im not in a huge rush for them but I would at least like to be acknowledged. He has a good reputation on pbb but hes starting to piss me off. How long before I call paypal to refund my money?
 
Today is only the 8th and it is a holiday weekend. Maybe he doesn't want to talk work and pretend he has a normal job where no one bothers you when your off the clock.
 
But how hard would it be to say" hey got your payment. Got some things ahead of you. Gonna be next week." The 4th 5th and 6th werent holidays.
 
This appears to be a legitimate shop not somebody doing it on the side.
 
I'm legit but I ain't talking floors this weekend! Give him till the middle of next week to get ahold of you.
 
Does anybody else remember back when you'd mail order something and it took six to eight weeks before it showed up? By the time it arrived, you'd forgotten you'd ordered it. Now, I get pissed if I don't have a tracking number emailed to me by the end of the day.
 
I think chase has just ruined the game for everyone else
 
Who did you order them from? A few weeks back i ordered ford 60 gussets from bigtoy302 and they somehow made it from oregon to nc in two days. The other guy i couldnt get to return my pms to buy a set.
 
To be totally fair, Friday (6th) was a holiday for many companies.
So you ordered on the 3rd, lets say the order was received the next morning (not everyone stands guard over the email 24/7) they had the 4th and 5th to acknowledge receipt. 3 days to order acknowldedge is not totally unreasonable but its not lightning quick service either. Id probably give them until Tuesday befoe I got reven concerned, but they certainly arent making my most responsive list at this point either.

So after no contact by tuesday I sent a PM, email, and phone message stating if I hadn't heard from them I was going to dispute the paypal. No response. Contacted paypal late tuesday. Got a tracking number today and a message in paypal saying "orders take 7-14 days to ship. Your order was placed on 4-3." That was all I wanted to know in the first place. If want anything from Crawlfab, inc. or jayz8886 on pbb I hope you are more patient than me.
 
did it state on his site that orders took 7-14 days?

I just checked. Looks like the dude is buildign a new site and may have not had that info on there yet. However, i do agree a confirmation email needed to be sent.
 
He didnt say anything about it. He quickly wrote me back to answer all my questions before i paypaled him but once the money was sent, not another word. I just thought it was a shady way to do business. I should have asked before paying but live and learn I guess.
