So last night I went to E-bay and got some crazy pop up adds that I can't get rid of. They come up on any purchase site, Amazon, E-bay, Summit, etc. They block 1/3 of the screen and you can't get around them or get rid of them. WTF?????

Now the there are a good dozen bogus links every time I search something in Google.

I also keep getting crazy pop up messages on here that prompts me to updateacdncache_a.akamaihd.net_items_it_img_arrow_10x10.png malware and one that asks me if I want to stay on this page or leave.

I use microsoft security essentialsacdncache_a.akamaihd.net_items_it_img_arrow_10x10.png and have never had a problem. Is this some new crap? Or a bug?

Any body else having trouble? I have tried searchingacdncache_a.akamaihd.net_items_it_img_arrow_10x10.png on line but can't find anything.

I down loaded Malwarebytes anti malware and so far it has found about half a dozen files called "bestwebnut" ans "spymallcoupon"

All this started on a random Google search looking for locking header bolts.

I get them coming through photobucket, which is useless nowadays because of the ads. They usually follow me to amazon.

I ran the animal ware. It found a couple hundred spy ware files. Everything is back to normal now. I just have never seen a bug get in through a search like that. Strange.

I used a trick the IT guy at work taught me. I set up my machine with an Admin and User profiles and only browse the internet in the User profile because it does not have rights to install any software. I still get the random pop-up window every once in a while but a simple closing of the browser and they are all gone and can never install any BS on my machine.
