Pop up ads

When I login to the forum and click on say General ChitChat the screen gets covered with a popup ad. X out of it and the page is there but still annoying cause I don’t want to buy whatever they are peddling.

The screen takeover ads are getting ridiculous.
Telhe hertz one seems most common
