Yeah you need to block off some time for it. When this film came out a few of my friends and I pulled a flat screen to the edge of a buddy's garage, lit a fire in a fire bowl and hung out in the driveway while we watched it. Its better than most movies Hollywood comes out with... and this crap is real.
Well, I watched it all. Every single min of it. It took several sessions, but I will say, It was one of the best documentaries I have ever watched. I even watched a few of the others that was about him afterwards. RIP Popcorn!
I grew up in Franklin County VA(Moonshine Capitol of the World), Popcorn reminds me of so many of those old codgers that I was around as a kid. Moonshine, Bluegrass and flat footin', good times!
I sold a clifford intake for a 258 a couple of years ago on craigslist. Met the guy up at WS. He drove down from WV. Looked and talked exactly like Popcorn. 'bout four guys rolled out of an old caprice, all had on bib overhauls, all looked liked they came out of a lil abner cartoon.
