I know it's not a 4x4, but it was different to work on, people said I was losing what little off road credibility I have with it in my garage. Porsche GT3 that races in the NASA Series;
Cut the doors out, cut crash bars out, owner wanted the door bars as far out as possible. (Owner didn't like the idea off a car hitting him with them 2' away from his leg, plus rules state you have to be able to get out of the car within 10 seconds with the HANs on). All out of 1 3/4" .120 wall chrome moly. Got them a ty wraps width off of the outer skin.
Made the seat cradle, cut floor pan out, lowered pan/seat in the car and made computer mount.
Did lots of other little odds and ends to it while I had it also.
Thing sounds clean 5-8K RPM.
