possible chance to make a difference in a new park in VA. just passing it on :)

"""This was taken from JF.com. There is a VT senior that has a project for a business course and has to work with a business. Well the one he got stuck with has a link with offroading, and they could be willing to build a park if enough people show interest. Here is a link if you wish to do it..."""

Filled it out. Especially the last one:

Do you think owners of stock SUVs/Trucks/Jeeps would be interested in testing their vehicles limits at an offroad park?

YES!

Done it.

I'm already trying to figure out how many IP addresses I have that I can answer from.

Hey,

done.

i think it's cool to have something for the stockers, something for the mildly built, and then a place where i can sit to watch the big boys, lol.

Done! SW VA would be a great location.

done done it

add one more!

I personally would love to see a park in SWoVA! The terrain from the NC line north can be plenty rude! I did most of my caving within a couple of hours Blacksburg and saw first hand some of the offroading spots... sweet!

OTOH, "JF.com" links to a freakin' German IT company... anyone smell the loaded Huggie?

sweet... I filled it out alright... jerks think they're gonna open up a rec. park for fourwheeling. i showed them. :flipoff2:

LOL.... just kidding :D

done, theres some awsome land to ride SW Vig. Hope it works out.

I was born in Roanoke and went to college in Radford. Knowing the area and the number of 4x4's per capita, why it han't been done is the real question. I'm willing ta bet that the cost of the land is steep and I know that when it comes to passing such an idea for that type of land use in any of the counties in that part of VA will be the hardest part by far. County and city planners have their heads in the sand or their arses. The same reason that I73 out of NC is for the most part done but ground hasn't even been broken in VA. The mind set of alot of the people who have the power is stuck in the dark ages. I hope the park is given a chance.
