Any suggestions? Was trying to avoid spray paint. I want to throw some green on 8 beadlock rings.

Know of a shop in the Charlotte area? I'd need them back by Friday afternoon.

These are aluminum if that makes a difference...

Welcome to H&H Automotive

I'm pretty sure Dean is doing some powdercoating and should have a quick turn around. Worth a shot to give him a call

Try HotBox. I haven't used them, but I've been curious about them. I'll probably use them for my next project, because I like to sample a few places around the area one at a time.

Also try these people, they're probably pretty close to you:
Airborn Coatings - Jet Coat Header Coating, the best Header Coating available
Whoa, they do CARC coatings...!

Let us know who you use, I always like to see who is good to deal with and who isn't....

I goggled it in Denver, NC, looking for a place where I forgot the name. it's Calico, but they just do heat treating & teflon type coatings. BUT, there were Many Powder Coating companies listed, along with Race City.

You can try R & R powder coating in Dallas. They may be too busy to get it done on time for you but they do a great job.

Calico does a lot of cool things, we like them a lot. I don't think they do powdercoating though. Lots of my ideas end with "...and then send it to Calico for ____ coating". Sadly, most of those ideas never see the light of day so they never get coated.

I'll make some calls tomorrow. See what I find out.

I painted my blue rings last year, they look ok in the pictures, but terrible up close.

I can give you a list of good coaters in the mooresville area, but not sure of any further south. I will say that I won't recommend race city powder coating. It has been a couple years since I have tried them, but we used them a couple times over a period of years and every time things had to be sent back ( Sometimes multiple times.)

I had them do a few small things for the house and I wasn't especially impressed. I considered hitting a few spots with a nib file to get rid of dust or whatever was embedded in the powdercoat, but decided against it.

You can send me a list of good coaters in the Mooresville area. :p

I'm not talking a few spots of dust/debri. I'm talking a chassis that had to go back 3 times for oil contamination and horrible fisheyes, it would blow off with an air gun. We got parts back where you could see where a label/sticker was, it was peeled off but it was never blasted or washed and the residue outline was still over the metal...

Anyways, my two main go to coaters in the Mooresville area are CRC powder coating on the corner of 150 and 115, and H.M. Elliot out by the drag strip. Also, Diversified powder coating in Statesville is top notch, they are just out of my normal driving circle.

I drive past CRC all the time in my work travels, I've wondered about them. The place next door to them has that red '70s Ford/Merc Capri parked in front that always catches my eye when I drive by.

Yeah, that thing has been sitting in in various spots around that boat shop forever. CRC is good, the owners name is Paul, they have done a couple chassis and parts for restorations for us. I only used HM Elliot once or twice when CRC was backed up, but a lot of the race shops and friends of mine in the drag strip area use them a lot. Just be up front about your time frame with them.

I used Advance Powdercoating in Cherryville with my bumper. Black texture powder, same day service. I've got no complaints.

I'll echo the other guys that recommended against race city. Had them do a set of h2 wheels not too long ago. You can see the terrible blasting job through the pc. Guy told me they spent 4 days blasting them and that was as good as they could get them. Not bring them anything else in the future.

I know this is late seeing that you wanted things done by tomorrow but another thumbs up for CRC. They have done countless parts for me from wheels to the frame on my Scrambler and all the parts in between. They did all my Poison Spyder parts on my JK as well. Hell they even did my wheels on my Harley as well as coating all my chrome to black on the bike. Paul is a good dude.

All great suggestions. I'm sure I'll end up with one of them after March. As of right now, I haven't even had time to shake a can at them.
