Looking to get the wheels on my truck powder coated. Can anyone recommend a shop in or around Winston. And any idea about what the cost would be. They are 20inch black wheels looking to get a satin black finish.

Exotic inc in Kernersville. I will post a number up Monday when I get back to my work computer. Here are a few pics of what they have done for my race rig.

sent pony express

For what it's worth, I just paid $75 to have my bumper powder coated. I've been told I could have gotten it cheaper, but I had higher quotes too. I'm nowhere near the triad though.

I had exotics price some wheels for me several years ago. They wanted 100 a wheel and I thought that was pretty high. I only live a mile or so from there shop tho so maybe ill drop in and see what they say.

I'll try and get you the name. There's a shop in Yadkinville that does great work CHEAP. He does big contract jobs, I think he takes on smaller stuff like wheels for fun. You can probably get them all done for under $200.

FYI when getting things powder coated, ask if your item will fit through their paint and oven line vertically. Not that wheels are a concern on this matter. But bumpers. Rockers, and long items can rack up costs if it has to go horizontal.

I send a lot stuff out for powder coating for work. And I've run into big price shifts for place to place due to size.

I use, McIntyre Metal and PowderWorks. Both in Thomasville. There's also Unique Coatings in High Point, but I haven't used them.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll call around and get some prices this week.

While you're calling, call Beamer's Custom Coating. That's who I was talking about. http://www.yellowbot.com/beamers-custom-coating-yadkinville-nc.html There's the number. He has the contract to do Bobcat buckets, and I think he does small jobs like this just to keep the ovens busy, because he's very reasonable. He's done a lot of work for my family and Church. He does us right, especially if it's something for the Church.
