I have a friend who is going to cut my beadlock outer rings down for me. I hate these wide rings, they hold everything in and hard to clean. So, while they are off, he can powdercoat them too. Should I? or shouldn't I?
how well do you think it will hold up vs paint? They have a lot of rock rash on them, so not sure it would be worth it or not. I have never had anything powdercoated

If you're going to be on the rocks, it will get worn off. I'd just paint em with undercoating, when the look rough again, reapply.

I had mine pwdercoated. Huge waste of money. Rock rash made quick work of them and now I have multi colered rings.

everything black on my jeep is spray paint...

hit a rock, paint chips off, sandpaper it and spray it (yes, I have a sandpaper and paint in the jeep

to keep the mud off I use PAM, mud does not stick to pam, and it is easily recoated. although dont use it on the rockers because it is a pain in the arse to step on a slippery rocker (don't ask me how I know)
