I have a 86 4runner with a 4.3ltr conversion done. The one problem I'm having is that I have put fluid in got a belt installed it and jackked it up off the ground and bleed the sytem by turning the the wheels all the way right and all the way left with engine off. Then I cranked it and let it run for a min and the pump got hot (really dang hot). I checked the pressure line and it is clear. So now I'm kinda out of my league with this any suggestions. The only thing I can guess is that I need a new pump. But before I ran out and tried to get one I would like any ideas you guys may have I can try.
