I've got a 96 crew cab Ford with power windows, and need some help getting the driver rear power window motor out. I've taken two 8mm head bolts out, but something is still holding it back, and there is no way to see whats going on. Anyone here familiar with this process?
Thanks

thanks

There is no third bolt visible. I suppose I have to drill a hole for access? Someone had already opened up a hole for bolt access as you can see by the butchering of the door.

Yea. A lot of fords have a dimple in the door. Drill it out with at least a half inch bit. Worst case if there is no dimple cut a flap on three sides about an inch each with a cut off wheel roughly around that grey connection. The bolt will be in that area. If u pop the connector off the door you might see the bolt through its hole.
