So I know this guy who built a buggy and he went to wheel it today and didn't have reverse.
Powerglide rebuilt with Hughes internals (not rebuilt by me, I don't do transmissions yet)
Full Manual Valvebody
When it's in reverse it wants to lunge forward a bit and when the tires are in the air it'll turn them forward but can be stopped by hand.
1st and 2nd seem to pull great.
This thing need to come out to fix this?
Only thing I know that I had questioned was the plate on the back of the trans between the adapter and the case. I left it in. Should I have taken it out? This plate covers up a bunch of ports that I thought I read didn't do anything when the rear pump was removed.
Thanks in advance.
