The Aussie's are the same design as the Lock-rites & Detroit-EZ (what's in my D30)... AFAICT, they'll all have the same manners on/off road.
One thing to keep in the back of your mind: some folks will say they make no noise, some say occasional clicking/ratcheting, & some will say they clank/bank all the time... all correct answers since the tolerances are different for every axle and many have "other issues" (bent tubes, excessive wear, etc.). While $200 may seem like a lot for a locker, they're all simple to install, aand if you don't like it's manners... yank it out and sell it! Lunchbox lockers tend to hold their value pretty well
